Windows 7 (Build 7000) minimum memory to run
The minimum memory recommendations is 1Gb of system memory as stated on the microsoft windows 7 beta download web site. Lately, i have been toying around with Windows 7 beta(32bit) and decided to see how low can it go in terms of memory requirement.

Check it out!! 128Mb of main memory is all you need to get it up and running. But running Windows 7 beta with that kind of memory is quite slow and not really productive. 96Mb of main memory was also tested, but it crashed while attempting to boot up. This is a far improvement over windows vista which is a resource monster.
Next up - Windows 7 beta running on a Pentium 3 PC.
Stay tune....
