How to create a sticky post in Blogger.

There are times when you have a post that you would like to have it constantly shown as the first post on your blog. Blogger does not have this function ready available but there are ways to get around this problem.

Here’s how :

1. Login to your account and go to your blogger post options. Select layout.

 

2. Click on “Add a Gadget” and add a “Text” gadget.

3. Position the Text gadget just above the “Blog Post” in your blog layout. At this point, you might want to open a duplicate browser session so that you can conveniently switch back and forth between the Layout and Blog post editor.

4. Next, create a “New post”.

5. Start composing your content as you normally would. You can also insert pictures and hyperlinks anywhere you prefer. You can also insert Youtube embed links codes, but you will have to switch it to html mode and locate a spot to insert it.

6. Once you have completed your content, just simply highlight and copy all the content.

7. Next, switch back to the layout section and edit the “Text” gadget. Insert the content that you have just copied into the “Content” box and click Save.

8. Lastly, Click on “Save arrangement” and you’re all set.
